Laundry Sauce is one of those obnoxious venture-capital backed brands trying to disrupt the laundry space ... ugh, I can't even finish this sentence without gagging. Their "ambassadors" try to convince those with more disposable income than taste that their perfume, candles, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener, fabric refresher spray and scent booster should match. Frankly, it's exhausting.
That said, they offer a rotating selection of about a dozen fragrances at any one time, and they have some very devoted fans. Interestingly, their pods do surprisingly well in independent testing. which isn't something a lot of influencer brands can claim. A half-dose of an unscented powder or liquid detergent can substantially improve the cleaning power of a single pod. Users report that doubling up on pods can overfoam many HE machines, especially with soft water. Not that you can afford to - each pod is a whopping $1, about quadruple what a quality product from Big Laundry will run you.
Longtime readers will know that I'm not a huge fan of liquid fabric softener on anything but animal fibers, and that I generally don't recommend dryer sheets, but their formulae are no worse than any others. The smart play here is probably their Scent Booster, paired with a top-performing detergent from The Lipase List , or the Fabric Refresher Spray. Both have solid formulae comparable to leading brands and it's easier to control the expense and intensity of the fragrance.
