I regularly rail against the evils of putting actual saponified oils in a washing machine - and Buff City Soap's laundry "detergent" is a particularly crap formula in a turd-filled sea of competitors all striving to find the most marketable way to ruin textiles. But people really love their fragrances, and who am I to judge if you want your textiles to smell *checks notes* "bold, playful, and fresh, blending sweet and smoky scents" from the pictured Commando variety. Personally, I know a commando or two, and I would not describe them as particularly fresh, but what do I know?
Nine fragrances to choose from, and carried on one of the better carrier systems for laundry fragrances found in products other than Big Laundry's finest. It's genuinely surprising how well-engineered this product is, given what a trainwreck their "detergent" is. Paired with an unscented detergent from The Lipase List, you could do a lot worse (looking at you, Bath & Body Works). This won't screw up your machine or your textiles.
