Project Blackwatch is my first foray into lab-style testing of wash characteristics and their impacts on textiles.   I'm performing six months of typical care  of typical black and navy blue finished garments and home textiles purchased from popular American retailers, and recording colorimetric data that quantify color shifts from:

• Wash Temperature - Phase I

• Wash Water Chlorine Neutralization - Phase II

• Use Of Percarbonate Boosters and Optical Brighteners - Phase III
